We have about 40 minutes to go as we pas over the Irish Sea.

It's been a fantastic few days.!

A big thank you to all those that have made this trip possible - British Airways, First Great Write and BMW USA. And a really big thank you to all of you who have followed this Twitter Trip tweeting me in the air and on the ground!

I will be doing more trivia on the 200+ mile train joinery in an hour or two - i'll understand if you don't follow that bit!

Thanks again Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Train, plane and automobile to Wings of Freedom Museum

It may be raining and I sm still not sure what time it is but I have made it.

I am at the Wings of Freedom Museum right outside the Willow Grove Naval Air Station.

With the First Great Western train service, the BA business flight from London City Airport and the BMW 650 convertible it has certainly been the best way to get to an aircraft museum! Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device

Dessert well it would be rude not to

As I had only had Eton mess once before I thought I would give it another go.

It was followed by coffee, liqueurs and either fruit or chocolate. I think you could have both if you really wanted to! The service has been excellent and I haven't seen any passengers with any issues - usually it is the lack of food choice that brings out the worst in people. The penne pasta went first.

Beef or chicken?

I decided on the Dedham Vale Farm fillet of beef with Scottish girolles and Madeira sauce.

It was not only just the right amount but also it tasted good. The warm rolls kept coming and it is always nice to use a proper metal knife and fork.

in-flight entertainment on board BA001

We have the screens now and the films are running!

Sorry Southwest123 (Twitter follower) but we have had to shut the sun out.

The touch screens are very easy to use and there are a good range of movies and TV programmes to watch.

Just touch the screen and the controls appear for play, volume, pause etc.

With the headphones - they are the best yet I have used - plugged into the screen it leaves the seat cable free. Crikey got to go John Connor's helicopter has just crashed...

Off to New York we go http://bit.ly/91a6d

Off to New York we go

Just over two hours until I reach London and there are worst places to be than watching the day start while sitting in a large comfortable leather seat, in a First Class carriage, drinking coffee and watching the world go by. My original thought for this trip was to drive. But with the general hassle of driving over 200 miles to the airport, plus the congestion charge I thought I'd try the train. And so far it is great - the staff are friendly and the service has been swift - 2nd cup of coffee and a bacon baguette have arrived and we haven't arrived at Exeter yet!
